Privacy Policy

Arvethon is an AI chat product owned and operated by Arveth Technologies, a subsidiary of Arveth Multi-Concept ("Arveth," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Arvethon, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, country, and date of birth (used solely to confirm you meet our minimum age requirement — see Compliance). If you choose to add a profile photo, we store that image.

If you set up a security question for account recovery, we store the question and a one-way cryptographic hash of your answer — never the answer itself in readable form. The same applies to your password: we store a salted hash, never the plaintext.

We store your conversations with Arvethon — your messages and the AI's responses — so you can return to past chats. If you delete a conversation, it is hidden from your account view but retained in our systems as described below.

If you purchase credits, our payment partner ArvethPay processes the transaction. We store the transaction reference, amount, and status — we do not store your bank account or card details ourselves.

If you generate an API key, we store a cryptographic hash of it (never the raw key after the moment it's first shown to you) along with usage metadata such as request counts and timestamps.

2. How we use your information

• To operate your account: authentication, session management, and delivering the chat experience itself.
• To process payments and maintain an accurate credit balance.
• To communicate with you: security alerts, password reset codes, and — only if you've opted in — service notifications.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and keep the platform safe, including automated checks against harmful or abusive requests.
• If you turn on the "Remember past conversations" (memory) setting, to give the AI access to relevant context from your other conversations, including ones you've hidden from your history list. Turning this off stops any such use going forward.
• If you turn on the "Use my chats to improve Arvethon" setting, your cached conversations may be reviewed by us to improve future versions of the product. This is opt-in and off by default. It does not happen automatically or in real time.

3. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Deleting a conversation removes it from your visible history but the underlying record is retained for a limited period for safety, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes before being purged. Deleting your account entirely removes your profile, conversations, API keys, and credit balance from our active systems.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on infrastructure and service providers to operate Arvethon, including cloud hosting, a payment processor (ArvethPay), an email delivery service for transactional messages, and underlying AI model providers we've selected and curated — we do not disclose which specific providers power any given response, as that's part of how Arvethon's system is designed. These providers process data strictly to deliver the service and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

5. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile information, delete individual conversations or messages, and delete your account entirely at any time from the Profile tab in Settings. For any other request regarding your data, contact us at info.arveth@gmail.com.

6. Security

Passwords and security-question answers are stored as salted cryptographic hashes. Sessions use signed, expiring tokens. We apply rate limiting and automated lockouts against repeated failed login or recovery attempts. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy

Arvethon is not intended for anyone under 18. We verify age at signup and do not knowingly collect data from minors. See our Compliance page for details.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
